In South Africa, I (Michiel) once attended a three-day seminar on “Mind Power”. I was taught how to switch my brain to ‘Alpha’ mode through meditation. When your brain is in “Alpha” mode, it is as if you get into a flow in which everything happens effortlessly. Wouldn’t that be great for businesses? The meditation concept I learnt was based on the rainbow. Red is the body, orange is emotion, yellow is cognition, green is tranquillity, blue is love and purple is ambition. By thinking of the colours and their associations you can go into Alpha mode. Isn’t that amazing? That’s when I realized I wanted my company name to be a combination of Alpha and Rainbow. That’s the story.
